Bonfires Everywhere—a title, a wish, an invitation. This section gathers the stories we’ve encountered along the way, beyond the project’s bonfire gatherings, from books, online trails, and scattered conversations sparked when someone inevitably asks, *What are you working on?* And we answer, *Illegalisms from below.*
*Bonfires Everywhere* is both a record and a call to arms against the twisted narratives of far-right politics—those who hijack anti-systemic anger only to serve elite interests and scapegoat the most vulnerable.
Let these bonfires ignite everywhere. Let these stories fuel new gatherings, new spaces where we might collectively wrest survival and care from the structures that abandon and humiliate so many, transforming whispers into shared flames.
