context: monday afternoon talks of oksana and lina and the following discussion about violence as metaphysical issue versus ethical issue, brought up the scribe. in her talk lina argued for breaking the tabu to speak about violence. she argued for the acceptance of violence as metaphysical and monstrous force. The scribe responded: is there a taboo to speak about violence? I don't know what you re referring to: which tabu, by whom and why?
