The peasants, who make up the great majority of its population, have no cohesion among themselves (of course, some exceptions…) [...] This formula can be applied not only to the peasants, but also to the intellectuals.[...] Intellectuals develop slowly, far more slowly than any other social group, by their very nature and historical function. They represent the entire cultural tradition of a people. -
